Absolutely! Your best option is to see a doctor at a walk-in clinic. Doctr’s care coordination service can also arrange an appointment for you at a walk-in clinic. It’s also a good idea to register with the Quebec Family Doctor Finder to be assigned a family doctor and avoid always going to a walk-in clinic.
If your RAMQ card is lost or expired, you can obtain proof of eligibility from RAMQ by calling 1 800 561-9749 so you can see a doctor at a walk-in clinic.
‍Non-RAMQ and non-eligible residents will have to pay a fee for consultation in a walk-in clinic or emergency room. Consult the Expat program to book an appointment without a RAMQ Card.
Most private insurance and healthcare spending account will cover the yearly plan. Chat with a supervisor if your invoice gets rejected.
